Seaweeds for Lunch

Mother and child gather seaweeds for their lunch along the Cabugao beach in Ilocos Sur.  This type of seaweed is usually just left scattered along the beach and was considered as an annoyance by fisherfolks and tourists. As it is getting harder for fisherfolk to eke out a living, this type of seaweed is fast becoming a staple.
