TULA (POETRY)

The Hacienda Luisita party!
An Honor to the Martyrs...

By Gian Quillo

beyond the solitary world,
outside the cage of the lost tribal state,
a full force of the hoarse voices,
whispering aloud the long-time agony,
the terror of oppression hunting them,
the thought of hunger is killing them....

dead and alive, wounded yet still fighting
covering the black decaying asphalt near the
towering palace,
molded by these bodies, scattered everywhere.

A revolution is never a party!
