  1. The time has come for a non-violent resistance from the public, in support of these brave Ppatungan Cove Fisherfolk and Farmers in the village at Patungan Cove. If enough tents are erected and occupied in support of these brave citizens, the Duterte Administration will hopefully understand that this grassroots struggle is an early opportunity to support the Genuine Agrarian Reform process now promoted by the Department of Agrarian Reform. Who will win this struggle? The oligarchs or the marginslized Fisherfolk and Farmers? Who will stand in defence of this community that has a memory of clearing the land for farming and building fishing boats for over 150 years? I live in Negros Island and I have a tent. How about you? The People United Will Never Be Defeated.
