Salungguhit: Tiring diversion

The Senate impeachment hearings, with all the antics of the prosecution, defense, and even the Senator-judges is starting to become a tiring diversion, especially since the lives of the Filipino people are getting worse with the spikes in prices, the festering unemployment and underemployment problems and the worsening poverty. And the worse part is, all the energies of the Aquino government seem to be focused on this, and the push to have more US troops in the country, to the detriment of addressing the basic and most urgent issues of the Filipino people.
