Young boy sings for Hacienda Luisita farmers

Five year old MJ Bellon sings his own version of Philippine folksong “Bahay Kubo” during the seventh year commemoration of the infamous Hacienda Luisita massacre, which claimed the lives of seven protesting farmers.

To this day, no one has been punished for their deaths. Under President Benigno S. Aquino III’s administration, the families and friends of the victims deem that justice would remain elusive.
