Statement by Alan Jazmines on His Arrest: ‘Violation of Jasig and Mockery of the Entire Peace Talks’
“In adding another arrest of a JASIG-holder on the very eve of the resumption of the peace talks, the leadership of the fascist AFP and PNP want to show how easily they can violate all peace agreements and make it appear that the NDFP and the revolutionary forces are weak and have really nothing to leverage on and gain in the peace process.” – ALAN JAZMINES, NDFP Peace Consultant

If the Peace Talks Were a Soccer Match, I’m Rooting for the NDFP
I support the peace talks because I believe that the armed conflict in the country can only begin to be resolved if the two sides, the two governments of the GPH and the NDFP, sit and talk and come up with solutions to the problems that precisely resulted in the conflict.

There is a delay at the start of the second day of the talks.  Both panels were not ready and were not present at the conference hall at ten o’clock, the scheduled start of the second day of negotiations.  Both GPH and the NDFP groups are inside their own secretariat rooms, presumably for more consultations before they start the morning session.
