Noynoy Tagged ‘Kapalmuks’ and ‘Incompetent Elitist’ for Warning of People Power III

Published on April 30, 2010

PRESS RELEASE
April 30, 2010

“Not only is Noynoy Aquino an incompetent presidential pretender, but is also a ‘kapalmuks’ (thick-faced) for thinking himself as the country’s presumptive president.” This was the statement of Terry Ridon, National Chairperson of the League of Filipino Students upon learning of Aquino’s pronouncements that another People Power shall ensue if he is defeated in the presidency.

Ridon said that mere surveys does not determine the will of the people, but only provide an index of a small section of the population.

“Besides, Aquino has yet to satisfactorily respond to claims as to his incompetence and charges of exploitation of workers in Hacienda Luisita.”

Ridon said a large segment of the country’s poor shall not elect into office another landlord whose hands are bloodied from the massacre of farmworkers.

“Our poor people are not oblivious to the sufferings of their fellow men, and they would surely see through the Yellow Army mantra of supposedly fighting corruption.”

Ridon said that the poor knows that corruption is not the ultimate cause of their poverty but landlessness and unemployment.

“They know that Noynoy ‘Kapalmuks’ Aquino is merely pulling their leg similar to nine years of lies under Mrs. Arroyo.”

Ridon finally said that given such a situation, any warnings of People Power upon his defeat is empty talk.

“The poor will not rise up for you Noynoy, you incompetent elitist.” (Posted by Bulatlat.com)
